Econet Wireless International has put the last nail on the Kwese coffin, few months after pulling down the satellite based services, they have now stopped running the alternative, Kwese Iflix service.
Information reaching TechnoMag states that the service provider for the Roku Kwese play devices is no longer supporting the devices for some technical reasons, forcing the Econet family to dump the whole Kwese play vision.
“We are having a glitch on the whole system due to service and support issue, and unfortunately it looks like stopping the the whole system and refunding the clients may be the best way out” said a source who could not be named “
Strive Masiyiwa came in huge and large with the Kwese vision, the only real threat to DsTV, but it seems this great vision has all but crumbled.
He had named it Kwese, meaning Everywhere!! they pulled the plug in Zimbabwe first, now the whole world!
Something may have gone really wrong , but we dont know what exactly!
