Lusitania Primary School together with the world’s biggest tech giant Microsoft have partnered together in acquiring a Microsoft Certified Testing Centre status for the school in Harare.
The testing centre was officially commissioned by the Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, Professor Paul Mavima at the school’s advanced computer science laboratory .
Speaking exclusively to Technomag, Lusitania revealed that the partnership came to light late last year and was fully implemented recently.
So far, Control 8 programme examining software as well as textbooks downloaded on to the devices for students have been received by the school from Microsoft making learning more interesting for the pupils.
The school is looking into opening the science lab as a testing facility to the public as a futuristic ideology that will aid spread and empower pupils with digital skills through E- Learning especially to the young and upcoming generation.
