TechnoMag can exclusively confirm that the Liquid Telecom Zimbabwe boss has left the company under unclear circumstances.
The Deputy Managing Director of Liquid Telecom Zimbabwe Mr Martin Mushambadope has resigned with immediate effect from the Internet Access Provider (IAP) in a letter he tendered last week.
Sources close to the developments have confirmed to us that the Deputy Managing Director is no longer with the service provider as he opted for the resignation.
In a notice to all staff it read
“The Regional Chief Executive Officer Southern Africa’s Office hereby advises all staff that Mr Martin Nharo Mushambadope who was the Liquid Telecom Regional Chief Operating Officer- Southern Africa is no longer in our service with effect from 12 January 2019. Mr Mushambadope resigned following investigations into irregularities in specified processes. Kindly stand advised that he has no authority to represent Liquid Telecom in any way”.
Our investigations stated that Mr Mushambadope had some allegations levelled against him on issues of procurement services.
Efforts to contact the Regional CEO of Southern Africa Mr Wellington Makamure were fruitless as his phone went was unanswered.
Mushambadope who was the Chief Commercial Officer had been recently promoted to Deputy Country director before liquid took the regional structure
