Civil servants are in for a big treat with Econet Media’s Kwese TV giving them decoders for free.
Further, subscription prices have been dropped prices to $20, 30.
The price remains unchanged however for other buyers at $49. Notifying subscribers, Kwese said civil servants need to bring payslips, proof of residence and IDs.
“Kwese decoders now FREE for Civil Servants! Watch over 77 channels for ONLY $20.30/ month. Visit any Econet shop with ID, payslip, proof of residence,”read the SMS.
Kwese entered the Zimbabwe in October last year after a long wait by Zimbabweans. Within a short space of time after launching, Kwese TV had 40 000 subscribers.
Econet Media Zimbabwe head Dorothy Zimuto told TechnoMag this service is only exclusive to civil servants paying through their Home link Scheme .
“This is our promotion for civil servants working through Homelink. Qualifying civil servants have their decoders and 1st 12 months subs paid upfront by Homelink and the customer pays monthly installments to Homelink over 24 months!,” she said adding “The free has T&cs attached to it.”
