Poor Response As ICT Africa 2015 Opens

ICT Africa 2015 kicked off today at the Harare International Conference Centre with visibly poor response and low buzz and public awareness towards the annual showcase, with only few stands pitched up for the event as for yesterday.

However the ICT Africa 2015 has all but the science and educational expo to thank as thousands thronged the same venue, which saw 400 regional delegates converge, at an event officially opened by His excellency, comrade Robert Mugabe.

The ICT annual event which is powered by ICT Suppliers Association of Zimbabwe brings stakeholders of the educational and industrial sectors in Africa together – with the aim of reflecting on how to transfer, diffuse and adopt Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) within the African context.

This year’s event is concurrently running with the Technological Sub-Sahara Educational Conference. The president of the republic of Zimbabwe this afternoon officially opened the two events. Here is more in pictures…
