Most people of this day and era rarely have an audible ringer enabled on their cell phone for various reasons. Hepatic feedback (vibration) is enough for most individuals. Most of the time.
But problems do surface when we neither have our phones in our pockets or in hand , as we tend to frequently miss call and texts that might be very important to us or to those special individuals who would have thought of us and decided to give us a call.

But there is a way that one can insure that he or she does not miss such calls or message and for those using the Samsung Galaxy S4 you should consider enabling flash alerts, which activate the LED when new notifications or calls come in.
This still keeps things quiet but makes notifications much more noticeable when your device is in silent or vibrate mode, as the flash isn’t easily ignored or missed.
How to Enable Flash Alerts on Galaxy Devices
With your Galaxy model phone in hand, navigate to Settings choice the my Device option and then enhance to the Accessibility setting provided on your galaxy device
Under the Accessibility preferences, scroll down to toggle on “CallFlash Notification Service,” then down a little further to toggle on “Flash notification.
This will technically insure that each time you receive a call or a text your flash will automatically turn on alerting you of the call.
whether you choice to ignore or respond is solemnly up to you.
Admittedly, you don’t need to toggle on both services—it’s up to you to whether you only want the flash activated on calls, notifications, or both.
It’s a great feature you may not have been taking advantage of, so try it out and let us know what you think in the comments below. And don’t forget to show your iPhone buddies how to enable LED flash alerts on their iOS devices.
